Visincept launched its next-generation real-time video understanding edge AI for smart cameras at CES 2026 in Las Vegas on Monday evening, and joined hands with JUANCLOUD, a global leader in smart camera solutions, for a joint demonstration.
Powered by world-leading visual detection and multimodal models at its core, this solution equips traditional cameras with three core intelligent capabilities: scene comprehension, semantic expression, and IoT interoperability. Visincept stated that the company is on track to build a more advanced edge-side visual brain AI, which can control IoT devices based on user intent through real-time visual understanding.

Data privacy and edge-side performance have long been pain points plaguing the smart home industry.
The biggest highlight of Visincept's launch lies in deploying state-of-the-art multimodal models on the NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano Super edge platform. This marks the first time that more powerful models have been run on compact devices, delivering highly efficient and real-time inference performance.
The solution is designed to convert scene and behavior changes captured by cameras into a continuous text stream in real time. This stream encompasses key elements such as target objects, actions, spatial relationships, event summaries, and risk alerts, serving as a semantic foundation for upper-layer applications. It continuously feeds high-density information into the backend desensitized AI processing hub, enabling functions including real-time alerts, content retrieval, event summarization, elderly/child care, and IoT automation, while minimizing bandwidth usage and ensuring strict compliance with privacy regulations.
Building on its current technological foundation, Visincept will roll out an open ecosystem for its edge-side visual brain AI. In the future, users are expected to connect their IoT devices to this visual brain, leveraging high-precision real-time visual understanding to control smart devices and execute personalized commands.
